Darvin Curry was born in Nassau but has lived in Abaco since the age of four. He grew up at the knee of his legendary grandfather – Captain Leonard Thompson as he developed the two largest resorts on the island: Treasure Cay Resort, Marina and Golf Course as well as Great Abaco Beach Resort.
As a young man, Darvin left Abaco to attend the esteemed Florida Air Academy and later Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton. After graduating with a double major in Marketing and International Business, he moved home to have a short career at the world-famous Nippers Bar and Grill before coming to work full-time with his family on the development of the Guana Hideaways Marina.
In his free time, Darvin enjoys sailing and playing tennis, but his true passion is spending time on the water with his wife Teresa and their beautiful daughter Skyla.
